This untapped resource can provide solutions for issues such as climate change, food security, biodiversity and health. Ethnobotanist Gerry Turpin is the co-ordinator of the Tropical Indigenous Ethnobotany Centre, housed in the Australian Tropical Herbarium at James Cook University, Cairns.
