View What’s On in a whole new way!
It’s been a busy month building up to May!
Myself, with Luke Boissevain (specialising in video shooting & post production), have been working
behind the scenes to bring you a new online version of What’s On! Unlike the previous online
version, this one features videos throughout the pages too, so you can view a whole new level of
community event coverage, exciting products & services from local businesses – plus heaps more!
The possibilities are endless. I have been ecstatic about this, with mini videos featured throughout
the online publication, it’s amplifying what What’s On is all about - capturing the Tablelands community
spirit! This is a whole new area with lots to learn and grow from! I would love to hear your feedback
on the new online issue. It also features interactive links, so you can simply click to book a ticket, find
out more about an event, or even go shopping online locally! visit wowtogo.com.au or What’s On
Facebook page to veiw it from your smartphone, tablet or computer :o)

Changeable Weather in these mountain parts can sometimes
catch you off guard, especially if your Immune System is
compromised – A chill can lead to a full blown cold and getting
wet and going in and out of air-conditioning can also allow the
cold to enter. Chinese medicine recognizes this as “Invasion of
Wind-Cold when the Defensive Qi is temporarily weaker than
the force of the pathogen”. Because the pathogen is moving
in from the outside there is a time frame of being able to
disperse it from your body before it sets in. As soon as you
feel it, or if you have been caught out you can use; MediHerb’s

as hot as you can stand it at first signs of sickness – they are antivirals/antibacterial & they make you sweat thereby forcing out the pathogen. You can also ask about specific Liquid Herbal Tinctures that can be made instore

You will need NBN
to continue to use them. The NBN network works on a fibre optics, (glass
By now we all know the NBN is coming but some people still don’t
realise that they will have to get it. Let’s start with “What is NBN”
NBN stands for National Broadband Network but even that name isn’t
really right for what it is, it is actually our new communication network.
Communication is both phone and data so if you have a home or office
cable) or fixed Wireless, (a digital wireless link between your building
and a communication tower like Hallorans Hill in Atherton). The fibre
is for town areas and the fixed wireless is for people beyond the town
limits. Talk to your current communications provider such as Telstra
about what you will get and when you have to have it done by.
