This 12-week course is for absolutely anyone. No acting or performing
experience is necessary. Absolute beginners welcome but it will also be
an exciting challenge for those with some acting experience.
Goals include: Practise the art of improvising, learn ways to get out of
the head and be embodied, discover and get comfortable in our unique
ways of moving and voicing, explore and overcome our fears and inhibitions
around creating and expressing our authentic selves, create characters
from exploring different parts of ourselves in play with others, inhabit our
characters fully and truthfully, learn how to create scenes from ideas, music
and other stimuli, bring scenes together in a cohesive collaboration, learn
how to work with nerves and experience real presence on stage during
performance, experience the thrill of sharing our creation with a live
audience, finish feeling confident, expansive and self aware.
