T e c h Ta l k w i t h T h at G e e k C av e m a n What’s the deal with Pokemon Go? Pokemon Go is going to be sticking around for a while with new ways to play and more social features being added. So what is it? Pokemon Go is a new mobile phone game where players try to collect mythical animals. That may sound pretty ordinary but what makes this game stand out is the fact that you HAVE to go outside to play it, even walk around. Think of it as part orienteering, part tracking and part discovery. I have seen large groups of people talking and laughing that didn’t know each other and families out walking and playing. Bad things can happen around any fad but playing this game is really good for people. I could try and explain the workings of the game but all that really matters is that it is bringing people together and getting them out and about.
