This is the country festival that provides the perfect excuse to head out to Irvinebank and discover—or rediscover—all it has to offer. Friday's events start with live music and a three-course meal at the Irvinebank Tavern. Duo SoulButter will entertain the crowds with a mix of Soul, Folk, Roots and Jazz performing classic and modern covers. The entertainment continues on Saturday from 10am with family fun and entertainment including market stalls, tug- o-war, a fire truck pull, and novelty events plus music from local performer Dave Kirk. Coach tours of the town are also on offer Saturday. End the day with a meal at the Tavern and enjoy live music by Chev Wilson. Sunday kicks off with a Rural Fire Brigade breakfast from 8am. At 10.30am and 1.30pm tour the heritage buildings and old mill. Tours are just $15 per person (closed-in footwear is required plus a hat and water). Numbers are limited and bookings essential so call Peter 4096 4020 or Sue 4096 4176 to avoid disappointment. Sunday lunch is provided by the Irvinebank State School P&C in the Tavern Beer Garden raising funds to help send the kids to Canberra on a trip. Stall holders are invited and encouraged to bring their market stall for the weekend to sell their wares. FREE camping and hot showers is available in the park. A great weekend for the whole family! 6 What’s On & Where To Go August 2018 Loudoun House Museum, Irvinebank. Photo: Gordon Grimwade
