Children’s Diwali Theatre Special
Hanuman Moves a Mountain & Attempts to
Eat the Sun Tues 30th Oct 1 1am & 2pm (S)
This Diwali children’s theatre special tells a tale of how the
baby bundle of mischief, Hanuman, wanted to eat the sun!
This comic take on one of the earliest Hanuman stories
lifts us up, celebrates & teaches us a valuable lesson, told
though puppetry, dance and play. After a Diwali craft session
the puppeteers will return to show you how Hanuman, the
respected Monkey King, took part in the epic battle between
good and evil on the island of Lanka. Suitable for ages 5+
Total running time is 50mins (plus a 15-20 min craft session in
the interval). Jesters Cafe will be serving fresh chickpea curry &
authentic indian snacks.
