Children’s Activities
Get creative this half term with arts activities at NAC. In an exciting twist to our October
half-term children’s activities we have teamed up with Funny Things Festival to offer some-
thing a little different, with activities suitable for children of all ages.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Funny Things programme
at NAC, & in venues across Wolverhampton.
Please note these workshops have very limited
spaces so booking is essential.

RESIDENT Exhibition by NAC Resident Artists
20th - 29th Sept - 10am - 4pm
NAC is home to the studios of a wide variety of professional artists, working in media
from oil paint to textiles. Come along and find out more about the work of this thriving
artistic community, and maybe return home with a print or a painting!

Wolverhampton Society of Artists Exhibition
Friday 18th - Sunday 29th October- 10am - 4pm
A group exhibition by members of Wolverhampton Society of Artists will be held in
NAC’s
Curious Circus Workshop
Friday 1st November
10am -12pm or 1-3pm (3yrs+)
The circus has come to NAC this half term
in this fun drop-in workshop.
Get crafting with a range of creative
activities involving clowns, acrobats and much
more! A balloon artist will be on hand too!
Sessions are drop-in, so come and do as
many as you would like.
(The same activities will run for
the morning and afternoon sessions)

Comic Alter Ego Mask NAC’s exhibition hall with an exciting selection of paintings and sculpture with work for

Create your very own fun, mad & expressive
comic character in mask form. This could
represent you fully or provide an opportu-
nity to transform yourself into something
completely wacky and new! Inspired by
Chris Sievey & his beautifully surreal and fun
masked alter ego Frank Sidebottom. It will
be a drop in activity with lots
of creative materials on offer
so there can be some really
unique & imaginative masks.

An annual weekend of action run by and for local Wolverhampton communities.
On the fun-filled day expect arts, science, craft, tech, digital and sports events and

A workshop for exploring the arts and cultural
traditionsassociated with El Did de Los Muertos, the Mexi-
can Day of the Dead. Create an altarwith flowers and other
elements and explore the wonderful tradition of Catrina
make up. The workshop is led by Anamaria Lines, a Brazilian
storyteller and performer.
