How did you decide what you wanted to do with your life?
There was never really a decision to make (laugh). My passion and what I do
is me. I can't imagine me being me if I was not into Arts, Media and
Entertainment. If you understand.
Who/what influenced you
The need to create has influenced me. I always have ideas and I love to see
them come to light. Creative people and like minded people influence me also.
Why did you choose that profession?
From school I was involved in mostly all extracurricular activities like choir,
steel pan, photography club, and dance. It was no surprise that most of my
professional life I would be involved in the arts in some way. I have worked in
the media (television, print and radio) and in entertainment for the past nine
years. What I did was use my passions to earn a living. That way I would
always love what I do.
Describe a time when you went for something but nobody thought it was the
right decision, but you stuck to it anyway.
(Laugh) Most of the ventures I pursue seem farfetched to the average person.
Good thing I am stubborn. I follow intuition a lot and it never fails. I love to
take calculated risks and take up challenges. It may take a while to pan out
but it usually does. Case in point. Last year I took up the challenge of being
the National Director for Island, MMTS (Talent Scouting conference in the
Bahamas). A few people thought it was a magnanimous project to take up and
thought I should have given up when challenges presented itself and all
seemed hopeless. But I consider myself a fighter and go getter so I kept on
