How to Do Interviews Going to an interview for the first time can be nerve racking, in fact going to any interview whether first or not can be nerve racking. A number of questions come to mind, like what should I to wear? How should I act? How do I answer those questions that am going to be asked? How early should I arrive? , and so many other questions, but the one question that comes to mind for everyone is will the interviewers be impressed or like me. This question right there is the one that puts persons in a panicked state. This leads most persons to not act like themselves or go overboard. This is because we want very much to be liked. We put on an act thinking that this would make the people interviewing us will be impressed by that. Yes they must like you but changing yourself is not the way to do it. The main thing is confidence. Yes those other questions that you asked yourself are also important but having confidence in yourself is key to going to an interview because confidence puts you in the right mind set, that you start to think, “I will make it or “they will like me.” Another factor is honesty. When at an interview, you want to be as honest as possible, because if it case you do get hired for the lies that were told then, the workload would be too much for you to handle. You would end up disappointing your employer and yourself. You also put yourself in a position where you would not get a good recommendation from that company.
