4) Look for rare auctions. Usually you can get a really good bargain there on items you can't get nearly as cheap in the marketplace! Also visit any friends you know who collect rares and offer to sell, buy or trade items with them.
5) After you feel like you've got a fair few rares in your closet, think about holding a rare auction. This is were your money spent will come back (And probably extra $$!) Thinking about becoming a rare collector? Here are some tips to get you started.
1) Make sure you have some money saved up. There is no point in becoming a rare collector if you have only $1000! A good price to start off with is around $3000 to $9999. You have to be prepared to make some big purchases, but it is worth it later on!
2) Start with having a basic knowledge of rare items. Check out the fashion avenue to get an idea of what's rare and what's not.
3) When buying your first rare, don't go looking for ultra rare items. Look for fairly common rares and see if you can get a good deal for it.
