A message from the Director
From Executive Director Jeff Serran

Downtown North Bay (also known as the Downtown Improvement
Area) is a business improvement area organization that was formed in
1977. We are the elected representatives of the business community
in a very prescribed area within the heart of North Bay.
Our Mission Statement "To preserve and develop the heart of North
Bay" was adopted by the D.I.A in 1995 and remains their primary objective. The Downtown Improvement Area works to achieve this goal.
The D.I.A concentrates on tourism, business retention and expansion,
and promotions. Festivals and special events are held at various times
throughout the year in an effort to increase traffic levels, enhance the
profile of the Downtown and strengthen investor confidence in the
Downtown core.
