We would like to welcome Keri Daniels as the newest member of the UM Dining team. She has been selected as our new Lead cashier in the Food Court and will be an amazing addition to out team. Hello from the Food Zoo! It has been a good week. We are making plans for our Homecoming Dinner on October 3rd and pregame on Saturday morning. It is going to be an exciting week!
We are getting ready to make 100 breakfast burritos for the away game. Go Griz! Our Griz Burger combo has been a huge success. We are setting over 30 combo’s a day. I know Jerry O’Malley has enjoyed at least one burger! Claire McCown was the winner of the bike give-away. LePeak is really starting to get busy as the weather gets colder. Yeah! We are in the process of planning a “farmers market” in the store. Details to follow.
Busy Busy in the Bakery! With homecoming this week we are going full force on production. We are making FTC Cherry pudding cake and FTC Apple crisp for the Zoo along with 400 chocolate mousse domes for catering.
Think Tank is cruising along. The cold weather has definitely helped boost our sales. Hot Chocolate is the thing to have this week. Stop by next week for an Amaretto Latte on special. For Biz Buzz and Recess business has really picked up! We have been busy making Panini’s and serving our Holiday Specialty drinks!
This week UM Concessions has soccer matches on Friday and Saturday at Dornblaser field. The homecoming football game is Saturday against Portland St, kick-off @1:30p. The Griz Food Truck will be operating at Missoula College West Monday thru Friday from 7:30-1p and Sunday thru Thursday, and from 9p-Midnight behind the Lommasson.
Happy Homecoming week everyone! Catering is going to be super busy. We start off slow and then build. On Friday we have 31 events. And we still have Football Stadium Suite orders to come in. As we stand we are at 71 events with the possibility of going over 100! Bring it on!
