Next Week in UM Dining

Happy Father’s Day to all of you Dads out there…We have new student orientation this week, plus the NIRSA conference; so we should be busy all week. We are working on some new menu items for this fall and trying to fill fall schedules. Quote of the week: My father used to say that it's never too late to do anything you wanted to do. And he said, 'You never know what you can accomplish until you try.' Michael Jordan

Next week we’re cooking ! It’s summer camp time and the groups are rolling in. Our first orientation group arrives on Monday and we are expecting around 800 students and parents. In addition to our regular service, and to make sure we can get everybody taken care of, we will open the Corner Store for the orientation group only, and serve a light lunch with a sandwich bar, soups, salads and dessert.

Looking forward to the first New Student Orientation next week. Busy planning new menu items for fall. We are happy to have Mike Lee on our team. I know he will bring some new and exciting ideas and programs.

After they've eaten all that delicious food, send them over to Think Tank for a smore's mocha and for the answer to the following trivia- which president said.... If I walked across the Hudson River, tomorrow's paper would state " the President can't swim?”

Next week UMC will be cleaning up from the 1st round of playoffs for the Montana Blaze football and finding out if we will open up for the 2nd round. The Food Truck will be open for lunch on Monday and Tuesday on the Oval.

We are busy with the first Orientation this week. We also have a couple of small conferences and meetings peppered throughout the week too.

The bakery is busy with orientation. We are making flathead cherry brownies and FTC raspberry cheesecake. Look for flathead cherry crisp at the Zoo on Monday.
