Next Week in UM Dining:

Catering will have the Gates Foundation coming on Monday and Tuesday. We also have a conference all week with the Montana Dept. of Health and Human Services, and a retirement party for Teri Gruba on Friday.

No major events next week. Everything should be fairly slow. We are finishing up some menu R&D and trying to fill our schedules for fall semester. If you have any students that want more hours, please send them our way. Quote of the week: Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live! Bob Marley

Next week we finally get a break with large catering functions so we will continue to build our bulk prep up. We will be making cookie pucks, breakfast breads, muffin pucks, pound cake, scones, Danish and anything else we have time for.

The Food Zoo is staying busy. We will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all week. We are enjoying some of the early harvests out of the garden, including edible flowers!

Dennis will be out on vacation next week, floating the North fork of the Flathead River!!!! It’s a sizzling summer at the Think Tank…….send ‘em over for an iced latte, iced mocha or try our Italian sodas that our baristas Rebecca or Denise will gladly serve up with a smile! Have a great week!

Gail is back from the NACUFS National Conference in Baltimore with great new item ideas. If you’re in need of inspiration, Gail is your go-to person. She’ll continue to be working on menu items next week, as well as pricing and scheduling for fall.

UMC is prepping for Paul McCartney. Food Truck is working on new menus and concepts for the fall. Golf Course is hosting a wine tasting and ordering event Thursday from 4:30-7. Saturday and Sunday is the Mt Sentinel Men's league Club Championship, so sure to be a busy weekend!
