NEXT WEEK

UM DINING

2

The Food Court is just gearing up for the start of the semester. Bobbie’s onboarding is going well and she should be up to speed before the madness starts. Were still trying to fill spots on the schedule so send everybody you know to us for employment opportunities. Quote of the week: I used to think that anyone doing anything weird was weird. I suddenly realized that anyone doing anything weird wasn't weird at all and it was the people saying they were weird that were weird. Paul McCartney

Next week in the Food Zoo we are feeding our awesome Residence Life folks, and we are keeping our student athletes healthy and strong: Football, Soccer and Volleyball. Go Griz !

We happily and tiredly survived the Sir Paul McCartney

concert. What a wild ride! I gratefully welcome back my AY

staff back next week. We have lots to do to get ready for

what we are hoping is a very busy semester.

We are making desserts for the Skaggs Symposium Banquet and The RA Banquet this week. We will also be finishing getting all of our new recipes tested for the Food Zoo and coffee ops for fall semester and making as many cookie pucks as possible for the Welcome Back event coming up soon.

On Saturday Aug 16th, the Adams Center is having PetFest. We are also still recovering from PMC :) Thanks to all who helped!

We start out small with the Adams Center picnic event on Monday and gradually build in the number of events through the week. We finish out with the Skaggs Symposium and the Woodsmoke conference. We also get the weekend off. Yeah!

Well the confetti has finally stopped falling from Paul McCartney’s exit and there’s not much time left and we’re back in the saddle again. In the meantime stop by at Think Tank for a new to us Reese’s mocha. Coming soon will be the pigs in a blanket latte. Yep that’s bacon, vanilla flavored syrup with steamed milk.
