Ashlynn Cloete is a street dancer who started dancing at the age of 4. She always entertained her family, performing at school concerts and family gatherings.
She started taking dance seriously in 2006 as well as becoming a gymnast. She began to enter local high school talent shows, and later joined a dance crew which specialized in a style that was very popular at the time in Mitchell's Plain called Flash.
She then joined a crew by the name of Retro Black and competed at Masters of Rhythm in 2010 and 2011. She broke away and decided to start dancing solo again, in mainly Popping and All styles and eventually found her feet in Krump
.
Krump was just IT for her. Everything she wanted to express she was able to bring out in her Krump without people pointing out what was wrong. People just understood.
