A light guiding the way

The collection of fluffy white drifters oversees me Tall stalks of life greet me as I trek by

I am greeted with a rigid staircase;

And so I climbed

The stalks turned into giants,

Who held a canopy over my head

The ground a golden brown

Leaves like icing on a cake, they stay there indefinitely.

I reach the summit, and I am open to the world

It is open to me as well, and greets me with it’s full beauty

An overwhelming painting wherever I turn, Earth shows me it’s collection

I sit complacent and let thoughts drift like the overseers who are so much closer now

The light, who guided me, congratulates me with its shine

And so, I climbed.
