What The Thunder Said, Vol 4 | Page 7

graham cracker brown dirt

woven through the dark

evergreen forest

trailheads meet

made narrow

by tall

dry pine trees stretching towards God

a young girl

glued to the edge of a back porch

overlooking a slick

quiet green Earth

cotton balls of grey

hidden behind distant triangles

pour over the treacherous peaks

spilling over

poisoning the pale blue before it

a dark grey

lit up by surges of electric white

striking disturbance within

her arms out stretched

looking up to the ears of God

praying

for an answer
