Manchester United have sturggled to lower this massive debt. Even as one of the biggest clubs in the world, one with the highest global precense, they still struggle to find the resources needed to truly be rid of the debt. Whilst the debt has not harmed their success drastically, they have been limited to challenging other clubs for players. Despite the shackles of debt their owners have placed on them, they still are capable of winning the league. Debt has, and always will, play a big role in contributing to the ideal 'good team'.

As shown, Manchester United have a massive debt. Whilst this number has not grown, even with the interest rates that come with it, it still remains a burden to their domestic plans. However, they have lowered this number drastically. In 14th November, 2012, Manchester Uniteds debt went below $400 million. This was the first time since the takeover. This had reached this point because of raising stocks, which tallied to $68 million raised.
