The 2010-2011 season brought the big bucks out. Spending millions of pounds to achieve the best players, all of the players bought remain as first team players now. Spending massive amounts of money, Chelsea were able to get top players. Fernando Torres, the biggest british import, brought high hopes. However, after many disappointing seasons, Fernando Torres has not regained any of the value he had at Liverpool. Despite this, the other buys were a success. David Luiz and Ramires remain as consistent regulars and have brought many goals to the club. The sales made for Chelsea were mostly low key. Richard Carvalho moved to Real Madrid for £7 million pounds, despite being a consistent starter. Overall, the transfers made were mostly intelligent.
