I'll read the name of a group and I'd like you to rate your feelings to that group between 0 and 100 using something we call the feeling thermometer. Ratings between 50 degrees and 100 degrees mean that you feel favourable and warm toward the group. Ratings between 0 degrees and 50 degrees mean that you don't feel favourable and don't care too much for that group. You would rate the group at the 50 degree mark if you don't feel particularly warm or cold toward the group. Feel free to use the entire extent of the scale. - Jewish people Base: All respondents Gender Total Male (a) Age Female (b) 18-24 (d) 25-34 (e) 35-44 (f) Class 45-54 (g) 55-64 (h) 65+ (i) AB (j) C1 (k) Region C2 (l) DE (m) Scotland (n) North East (o) North West (p) Yorkshire & Humberside (q) West Midlands (r) East Midlands (s) Wales (t) Eastern (u) London (v) South East (w) South West (x) Unweighted base 1008 517 491 85 152 167 183 158 263 411 203 158 236 93 41 105 92 94 70 53 99 136 134 91 Weighted base 1008 491 517 117* 175 165 180 145 226 271 271 220 246 88* 42* 116* 86* 91* 75* 51* 98* 133 141 89* 19 22%T 15 16% 11 15% 4 7% 15 15% 23 17%t 3 4% 1 2% 4 4% 2 2% 91-100 188 19% 79 16% 109 21%a 21 18% 35 20% 30 18% 31 17% 31 21% 40 18% 81-90 40 4% 17 3% 23 4% 6 5% 6 3% 11 7%I 9 5% 4 3% 5 2% 71-80 133 13% 76 15%b 57 11% 17 15% 24 14% 13 8% 23 13% 26 18%F 29 13% 38 14% 61-70 68 7% 34 7% 34 7% 6 5% 8 5% 11 6% 16 9% 8 5% 19 9% 51-60 62 6% 40 8%B 22 4% 9 8% 11 6% 7 5% 8 5% 10 7% 41-50 435 43% 198 40% 237 46%a 46 39% 82 47% 79 48%h 76 42% 31-40 16 2% 7 1% 10 2% 1 1% 2 1% 4 2% 21-30 16 2% 12 2%b 4 1% 1 1% 3 2% 11-20 6 1% 5 1%b 1 * 3 3%efg 0-10 43 4% 24 5% 19 4% 7 6%e NET: 51-100 491 49% 245 50% 246 48% NET: 50 - Neither / Nor 430 43% 195 40% NET: 0-49 87 9% 50 10%b 56 21% 30 14% 41 17% 23 26%Tu 24 8 9%KLM 3% 6 3% 2 1% 6 7%qv 46 17%M 24 11% 25 10% 10 11% 4 8% 16 6% 19 7% 15 7% 17 7% 5 5% 1 3% 16 7% 17 6% 14 5% 13 6% 19 8% 4 5% 3 7% 5 4% 54 37% 98 43% 97 36% 111 41% 35 40% 19 44% 2 1% 3 2% 5 2% 3 1% 3 1% 5 2% 6 2% 2 2%v 2 1% 4 2% 3 2% 3 1% 6 2% 2 1% 3 1% 5 2% - - - 1 1% 2 1% 2 1% 3 1% - 1 * 2 1% 8 5% 7 5% 9 4% 7 3% 9 3% 12 6%j 59 51% 85 49% 73 44% 88 49% 78 53% 109 48% 235 45%a 45 38% 80 46% 78 47%h 76 42% 54 37% 97 43% 95 35% 109 40% 37 7% 13 11% 10 6% 15 9% 16 9% 13 9% 20 9% 20 7% 18 7% 10 6%E 61 23%Lm 156 144 58%LM 53%LM 112 115 51%Jk 47%J 88 40% 15 6%J 104 42% 112 113 51%Jk 46%J 20 9% 29 12%jk - 7 7%oQv 30 21%T 1 1% 18 15% 10 12% 13 14% 15 21%U 8 15% 8 8% 16 12% 20 14% 11 13% 16 2 14%noQr 2% X 5 5% 4 5% 3 5% 7 7% 13 10%Qx 10 7% 3 3% 5 6% 2 2% 5 6% 5 10%R 8 8% 11 8%r 6 4% 8 10%r 43 37% 39 45% 44 48% 32 43% 27 53%pw 48 49% 53 40% 53 37% 43 49% 1 3%v 1 1% 1 1% - 1 3% 1 1% - - 2 3% 1 2% 48 54% 20 48% 35 40% 5 5% 3 3%v 11 7%oQV 14 16% 3 3% Proportions/Means: Columns Tested (5%, 10% risk level) - a/b - c/d/e/f/g/h/i - j/k/l/m - n/o/p/q/r/s/t/u/v/w/x/y Overlap formulae used. * small base; ** very small base (under 30) ineligible for sig testing Prepared for Channel 4 and Juniper by ICM 13 22 30%sTu 19%t x 3 4% 1 2% - 2 2% - 3 2% 1 1% 5 5%NRwX - 2 2% 1 2% 2 2% 3 2% 1 1% - - 1 1% - 1 1% - 1 1% 2 1% 2 1% - 6 5% 4 5% 3 3% 1 1% 3 5% 4 4% 10 7%s 6 4% 4 4% 64 56%qtu 36 42% 41 45% 38 51% 20 39% 42 43% 66 50% 76 54%t 40 45% 17 41% 43 37% 38 45% 44 48% 32 43% 27 47 53%pvw 48% 51 38% 53 37% 42 48% 5 11% 9 8% 11 13%n 6 6% 4 6% 16 12% 12 9% 6 7% 4 8% 9 9%
