The show stars Khanyi Mbau, Tshepo Maseko, Mara Louw, Prince Ngobeni, Nyembezi Kunene and Bongani“ Ngozi” Gumede.
Maseko plays Themba Sibeko, a wayward pastor’ s son who is chosen to succeed his father, AJ Sibeko, when he dies.
The hardworking and religious son Malusi, who was eyeing the pastorship, is unhappy that he was overlooked. The family tries hard to rehabilitate the black sheep of the family and keep him in line with their Christian family values.
Seasoned singer and actress Louw, who plays the mother of the feuding sons, says:“ The issues that are dealt with on the show happen in real life.
“ It’ s a great show with a well-written script. It was fantastic working on it. The crew and cast are lovely people. It was a blessing. I hope it gets prolonged because five episodes are too few,” Louw says.
Ngobeni, who plays Malusi Sibeko, says he is delighted with the reception he got.
“ It has been fantastic. I’ ve received lots of praise. Some people say they didn’ t know I could act, but that I did a good job. I have played smaller roles before this,” he says. Maseko says this is his first role as a bad guy.“ My mother hates the character I play, but she loves the show. I’ ve only played good guys and funny guys since I started acting.
“ Now I play a guy who is into drugs and strip clubs. It was a challenging role but I’ m happy with the outcome,” Maseko says.
The show also marks the return of actress Mbau to television.

She says:“ The public is happy to see me on TV again. The message of the show is real and it’ s like a reality check.” Mbau, who is also a singer, says:“ I’ m focused on my acting now. There are numerous shows that I shot and I also acted in some films.”.
