The MUSE Awards are an initiative of the Writers ' Guild of South Africa ( WGSA ). The primary objective of the MUSE Awards is to honour , celebrate and promote the creativity , quality and writing excellence of the WGSA members .
These awards are only open to members of the Guild . In the inaugural year we will feature only six competition categories , Feature Film , TV Drama , TV Comedy , Documentary , Stage Plays and Unproduced scripts in any genre , but more will be added as the competition grows .
Entries for 2013 open on 1 st August and close at midnight on the last day of October 2013 .
