Open‘ A’ Hockey Tournament
We hosted this event for the second year in a row on our beautiful astro complex. WGHS first team moms ran the tuckshop and Blakey’ s Beans supplied assorted coffees. True to form the WGJS staff and coaches ran a professional well-organized event. The use of the electronic scoreboards is useful when matches are only 14 minutes one way. The hockey was fast and furious. Our U13A girls played their“ Wynberg Brand” of hockey which was introduced by our new Head of Hockey Mr. R. Pillay. An exciting day of hockey was enjoyed by all at the Peninsula Girls’ School Games Union( PGSGU) tournament.
