What a year we have had in Grade 5!

What a year we have had in Grade 5!

2016 was filled with laughter, new-found challenges, triumphs and plenty of learning experiences. Unfortunately we had to say farewell to Mrs Marais, but welcomed Miss Jaipal to our Wynberg family. She was enthusiastic to get started and the girls took to her instantly. When we asked the girls to describe their experiences, they had the following to say:

Grade 5

“ It was inspiring because our teachers didn’ t only teach us school work, but they taught us how to be better people and to be more helpful to others.”
“ Grade 5 was filled with memories that can be treasured forever!”
“ I gained a new perspective on school. I used think school was boring because I felt that I was terrible at academic work. But once I reached Grade 5, I found my rhythm and started to feel confident!”
“ Grade 5 can be described in one word, different. But different doesn’ t always have to be bad, I really enjoyed all the changes during this year. The new building, new rules, new responsibilities and a new teacher. All these changes were good changes, because they helped us grow as Wynberg girls.”
This year we had many engaging lessons, fascinating outings and numerous opportunities to develop our girls holistically.
