Projects
Fun and interesting projects were given out each term
always with a focus that is linked to a subject.
Term 1 saw the girls creating a habitat in a shoebox.
They were so creative from mini torches to finding
interesting animals in a forest to magnifying glasses to
seeing the finer details.
Term 2 had a geographical focus where a list of criteria
was given to create a globe. The globes were hung up
in the classroom and the teachers were reluctant to
hand them back as they were so spectacular.
Term 3 had the girls working hard. A fantastic mobile
was made using recyclable materials. Some generous
girls donated their mobiles – thank you for putting
someone else’s needs above your own.
Then, because the girls are such eager out of the box
thinkers, they were encouraged to invent a moving
object out of recycled material – also following a
specific criteria. The teachers were blown away by their
determination – the rethinking and rebuilding of their
inventions before they were eventually showcased.
