Operational Partnerships
WFP continued its longstanding partnership with the National Coordinating Committee of the DPRK Ministry of
Foreign Affairs to implement PRRO 200907. Without this strong partnership with the Government, access to WFP's
operational areas would be impossible. In 2016, WFP also continued to pursue cooperation with other functional
line ministries including the Ministry of Public Health and Ministry of Land and Environment Protection. In addition,
WFP’s partnership with local food production factories contributed to strengthened local capacity.
