Origins
3rd Tuesdays 7:00 to 9:00 PM
with Albert Bouchard
“Origins” on WFKU every third Tuesday of the month. Origins
is a show that seeks to explore the roots of various music and
musicians, with particular emphasis on the music of Albert’s
past and present groups, Blue Oyster Cult and Blue Coupe
(which is a literal synthesis of Blue Oyster Cult and Alice
Cooper Group). Another feature of the show is the cornucopia
of stories and anecdotes from someone who was there. This
Month’s show will present the early music of BOC and
Albert’s high school band, the Regaltones. Also included this
month will be music by some of the people Blue Coupe has
played with in the past few months, some of whom have
created the most timeless music of the past century.
Thanks to upgrades in Internet Radio Technology WFKU is Currently Bringing you 13
Live/Undead broadcasts a week, and 2 Monthly broadcasts. We are Looking To expand! We are
Actively filling up the schedule with new live shows. WFKUwants YOU - 2 B the new talent. Not
just another zombie auto DJ Playlist... YOU! would have hours, and would be responsible for being
on the air during your live hours. The setup is fairly easy and a bit more flexible than most. Whats
in it for you?
Other than the joy of doing live radio, and being able to create a place for your friends and
fans to gather once a week or month, there is a financial incentive. We have both web and
audio advertising packages and we are willing to give a 50% YES 50% commission for DJs
who bring us advertisers and or sponsers AND 50% of all Donations During your live
