EVP Message to Members
SEPTEMBER 2023
It’s been just a little over a month into my new role as Executive Vice President of the Western Pallet Association, and I can say that it has been a thrilling new chapter in my life.
Many members have wished me well and are excited for the future of the industry and the association. As always, their advice and feedback are a crucial part of the friendship and professionalism that are the common standard in the Western Pallet Association.
To date, I have been working on getting the association ready for future projects and opportunities and have worked extensively with the board and committees to continue building the solid foundation that was laid in place by Dave Sweitzer and Kristine Durr.
Dave and Kristine have been integral to my experience, and their kindness and professionalism have helped smooth the transition exceptionally well.
As we cross into the next phase of our work, I’ll begin visiting members on-site and engaging with them to understand what’s important to them and how the WPA can become a better resource for them.
I’ll also be working with the WPA Team to ensure the next Annual Meeting, which is the WPA’s 50th anniversary, will be a special experience and event for all attending. Registration will be opening soon, so don’t miss it!
Thank you all for the warm welcome and the trust you've vested in me. The road ahead for the Western Pallet Association is an exciting journey.
Here's to the journey that lies ahead; your support and friendship make it all the more promising.
