that solid wood is renewable, reusable and recyclable, and that the carbon in wood comes from the atmosphere. When we make a pallet, we are borrowing it and storing it in a pallet bank.

“These are all different things that you can potentially use when talking to your customers,” Dr. Gething stated.  “And of course, we're available to help you in these conversations.”

“This is an evolving topic,” he said in wrapping up his presentation. “This is the beginning and I certainly expect us to be evolving. This time, six months from now to a year from now, I could probably give a whole new presentation on how things have changed. So again, we're going to do our best to communicate what's important and when it's important.”
