Beverly MA - A new line of pallet machines is now available to address challenges such as easily producing small custom orders, building large pallets, or nailing remanufactured pallets - in both stringer and block style. The Pneumatico line of pallet machines has now been introduced in North America, represented by Beverly MA-based Pneumatico USA.
Pneumatico, an Airfix brand, was introduced into the European market in 2016. It has caught on quickly, with installations in more than a dozen countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Pallet machine offers increased work efficiency
The single operator Pneumatico pallet machine offers a much more efficient solution than hand-building on tables or the use of jigs. Pneumatico offers a small footprint to enable the nearby placement of components to reduce pallet builder travel time.
The adjustable worktable, pneumatic clamp, pneumatic pallet lift, and free movement of nail guns collectively support productivity, which typically ranges in the 170-230 pallets per 8-hour shift range. Changeovers are fast, ranging from a few minutes up to a maximum of about 20 minutes to change completely - like from a stringer pallet to a block pallet. Quicker changeovers translate into being able to profit from small custom orders while producing them more quickly to reduce delivery lead time.
Custom pallets
The Pneumatico line features three models, PT-1900, PT-2800 and PT-3300. The PT-3300 can handle building pallets from 35.4″-129.9” in width and up to 59.1” in length. Valuable for small order and remanufactured stringer pallet production, It supports the manufacture of 2, 3, 4 or 5-stringer pallets. The flexible Pneumatico also handles a range of custom and standard block style pallet needs, including EPAL, CP1, CP2, CP3, CP4, and CP5.
Easier on the operator
Features such as the inclined table, pneumatic clamp and pneumatic pallet lift reduce operator fatigue while supporting productivity. Likewise, the roller track allows the nail guns to move freely along the rail mounting system overhead.
Shorter lead time
Many pallet machinery suppliers currently have lead times stretching to one or two years. Pneumatico currently has inventory available, ready to ship.
