WPA Welcomes Fritz Richard to Management Team
The WPA is growing and pleased to welcome Fritz Richard to the Association's management team. “Fritz has the maturity and experience to help move the WPA onward and upward”, said Executive VP Dave Sweitzer.
Fritz will assist the membership committee by developing a comprehensive plan for recruitment, engagement, and retention. He will also work on updating and improving the website, as well as implementing future adjustments to communications and promotional activities.
His experience will be useful in helping the State Advocacy committee monitor legislation in the 13 Western states that could affect the pallet industry. “You will be able to personally welcome Fritz and his wife, Belinda, at the WPA annual meeting in January," Kristine said.
Fritz has 35 year’s experience as a digital artist, working with some of the earliest versions of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
He is the former publisher of MacArtist Magazine and the former CEO of enStep, Inc. MacArtist Magazine was published from 1989 - 1994, where he grew the subscriber base from zero to over 32,000 in less than 18 months. The magazine was the only worldwide Macintosh how-to publication at the time.
enStep, Inc. developed over 500 fonts and 3000 clipart images that were sold through
large retailers like Target and Costco. It grew from zero to over $750,000 a year in
revenue in under 15 months, making it the 4th largest minority-owned company in
Beaverton, Oregon (1994 - 1999).
Fritz met his beautiful wife Belinda in California on July 4th, 1991. They have two kids, Blake and Jade. And three furry kids Gabriel and Charlie (dogs) and Gracie (cat). He comes from a bigger than average family, five brothers and five sisters. He was the first American born of his Haitian family.
He loves to play online chess (master rating) and practices Tae Kwon Do (3rd dan
black belt). He also enjoys drawing and sketching while he listens to his Bible app. Being a devoted Christian, Mr. Richard has published several Christian books and products sold on Amazon and Etsy.
