Kamps, Inc. Opens New Pallet Location in San Antonio, Texas
Kamps, Inc., has announced the commencement of its new pallet facility in San Antonio, Texas. The San Antonio facility will provide wooden pallet recycling and custom pallet manufacturing, two of Kamps’ main strengths. The company has added seven facilities to its national network in the last three months, including this latest expansion, which has come on the back of strong first-quarter company growth.
The new location comprises two cross-dock buildings with 60 docks and spans over eight acres. It has ample space for product storage, repair stations, and cutting-edge operational equipment. The company intends to hire 40 employees initially and has 75 trailers available for servicing the local customer base. With this new location’s capabilities, Kamps aims to recycle, repair, and manufacture more than 50,000 pallets per month.
The San Antonio facility will provide expanded local support to Kamps’ national and regional customer base by enabling the company to move further south. It will also play a critical supporting role in Kamps’ overall Texas footprint by offering vital support to the existing locations in Fort Worth and Dallas.

Kamps’ national presence has expanded to 63 asset-based locations, with the inclusion of the new facility. The company is now supported by almost 9,000 trailers and over 4,000 employees.
