The Appalachian Arts and Crafts Fair , a two-day celebration and show of Apalachian heritage passed down through generations , featuring skilled Appalachian artists and makers creating crafted items for purchase and admiration .
Throughout Appalachia is a rich and unique history of handcrafting ; from original art works , pottery , metalworking , quillting and the cutting , saddling , stiching and edge finishing of an artisan at work with leather . The Appalachian Makers Market at the Aug . 2-3 2024 show celebrated the region ’ s finest makers .
