evin Johnson didn ’ t start out with the dream of becoming a chocolate maker . But somewhere along the way , his side steps have led him down the path of quickly becoming one of West Virginia ’ s premier chocolatiers . “ I actually studied environmental engineering ,” Johnson said with a laugh during a recent interview . However , he soon learned that solving complex math problems while being stuck inside a building all day wasn ’ t what he wanted out of life . He wanted to be outside , and he wanted to make a difference by solving community-based problems . So , Johnson did the unexpected . He decided to join the Peace Corps and relocate to Central America .
