Co-Founder / Executive Director of RiffRaff Arts Collective Lori McKinney has a deep passion for the community .
For the past 17 years , the Princeton native has served as the executive director of RiffRaff Arts Collective , which she founded with her husband Robert Blankenship . The couple , who , McKinney said , fell in love through their passion for music and " desire to form a better world ," founded CultureFest World Music and Arts Festival in 2004 and All Together Arts Work in 2012 .
McKinney is also the co-founder of the Princeton Renaissance Project , which she describes as a multi-faceted downtown development effort .
" This is an opportunity for us here in West Virginia to create our own opportunities ," she said of her endeavors . " I ' m in it to help build healthy , vibrant communities , to create joyful experiences and opportunities for meaningful human connection , growth and transformation .
