Mountain Stage , the much beloved home of live music on National Public Radio ( NPR ) in the Mountain State since 1983 , hit the road from its Charleston ’ s home for the stage at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg on Oct . 6 , performing before a sold-out audience .
Grammy-award-winning country and bluegrass star and West Virginia native , Kathy Mattea has hosted the program since 2021 , bringing new acts and sounds to the airways .
At Carnegie , fans of the program and those in attendance heard American Patchwork Quartet , Kyshona , The Brother Brothers and Stephanie Lambring .
