Amelia Cole began making earrings in 2020 when she was home with her 16-month-old son . She soon sold her first pair and ever since has amassed a large and loyal local following . She also ships to other states .
“ It ’ s grown really organically ,” she said . “ Being here in a small town , my support has been really heavy which has been nice . People like buying from people that are local and from

She can do ghosts for Halloween , poinsettias for Christmas . She did a State Fair theme which included corn on the cob and pickle pizza earrings . She can do custom themed earrings for weddings or baby showers , too , and is always happy to take suggestions for new designs .
Her most popular designs are the flowers .
“ When I get to do the florals where I ’ m making each petal by hand it ’ s something that makes me feel good cause I ’ ve worked really hard . It gives me a sense of accomplishment and they are made by hand one by one . Even if they look similar they ’ re all slightly unique because they ’ re not mass produced .” ❖
