In order to give much-deserved credit to those working to improve the state ’ s health care , West Virginia Executive magazine hosts the Health Care Hall of Fame . Created in 2020 , the award program highlights the exemplary efforts of leaders in medicine and health care innovation whose contributions
will make long-lasting positive impacts on West Virginia .
Each Health Care Hall of Fame inductee has a unique story of impact — whether it ’ s expanding access to care in rural areas , revolutionizing patient treatment or educating the next generation of health care professionals . Nominees must have lived in West Virginia and held their current role for at least two years while making meaningful contributions to the state ’ s health care landscape .
