The trail system at Mountwood
Park is located on the north side of Route 50 . The trailhead is located at the Mountwood Family Campground , which allows riders to access the trails directly from their campsite . The trail system consists of approximately 20 miles of trails that range from easy to difficult , and more than 5,000 riders visit annually . Other amenities include an archery range , disc golf course , dog park and opportunities for bird watching , fishing , boating , hiking and biking .
