Pallottine Foundation of Huntington Awards Grants to 56 Nonprofits in the Tri-State
The Pallottine Foundation of Huntington recently awarded 56 nonprofit organizations in the tri-state with grants totaling $ 840,859 through its Healthy Communities Initiative .
The Healthy Communities Initiative supports funding requests up to $ 50,000 that address health-related challenges , such as chronic disease management , behavioral health and food insecurity throughout the foundation ’ s 20-county focus area in West Virginia , Ohio and Kentucky . Grants support programming needs for the continuation or enhancement of existing projects , the development of new projects and projects that improve the organization ’ s internal capacity to work effectively .

Miller Joins Orion Strategies as Director of Research
Orion Strategies , a multi-state strategic communications and public relations firm , recently welcomed Brett Miller to its ranks as director of research .
The research division of Orion Strategies regularly executes focus groups , polls , change of venue surveys , media audits , lay-of-the-land memos and opposition research for companies , issue campaigns , universities , media outlets , advocacy organizations , industry associations and law firms .
“ I ’ m excited to be joining the professional staff at Orion Strategies , especially at this juncture in the company ’ s growth ,” says Miller .
Miller comes to Orion Strategies with 15 years of experience as an archivist in the Anne Merner Pfeiffer Library at West Virginia Wesleyan College , most recently serving as the director of library services .

Miller received his Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 with a specialization in archives , preservation and records management and then interned at the Smithsonian Institute ’ s National Museum of American History . He has served on the boards of directors for numerous historic and civic organizations , plays multiple instruments professionally and is a published author .
Tabler Station Logistics Park Breaks Ground

Representatives from Hines and MetLife Investments break ground for the Tabler Station Logistics Park .
Hines and MetLife Investment Management ( MIM ) celebrated the groundbreaking of Tabler Station Logistics Park in December 2021 . Tabler Station Logistics Park delivers two Class A , industrial buildings in Martinsburg , WV , a fast-growing submarket in the southern I-81 corridor . Tabler Station Logistics Park will be Hines ’ first industrial development in the firm ’ s U . S . east region and the second industrial project with MIM .
Totaling over 730,000 square feet , the first phase of the project is located on a 145-acre site with excellent access to I-81 . Once complete , the overall project will consist of three buildings with approximately 1,600,000 square feet of industrial space . Both buildings in phase one will be 365,400 square feet and will include 40-foot clear heights at first column , cross-dock configuration with 450-foot building depths , 185-feet-deep truck courts and full building circulation with easily segregated car and trailer traffic . Leading global commercial real estate services firm Colliers is the leasing agent for the property . Construction on phase one of Tabler Station Logistics Park is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022 .
