DAVIS & ELKINS COLLEGE IS LEADING THE WAY Nestled in the natural surroundings of the Allegheny Mountains, Davis & Elkins (D&E) College is entrenched in history with eyes toward the future. Solid finan- cial footing has placed the college in the top 15 percent of Forbes’ College Financial Grades ranking of private not-for-profit colleges, allowing it to set the course for its students in leading the way. A D&E college experience prepares students for careers and life in a multitude of ways. THE COMMUNITY Community service is a big part of D&E life. Students volunteer their time and put to task their critical thinking skills in assisting area organizations with making the com- munity a better place to live. Welcoming community members is an everyday occur- rence. From serving as a major venue for entertainment events to hosting profes- sionals in classrooms and enjoying the beauty of the campus, D&E is as much a home to area residents as it is to students.
