We provide funds to fill gaps in our legal system to ensure that justice is fair and accessible to all.
The Bar Foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations involved in programs and activities to improve the administration of justice and educate citizens about their rights and responsibilities under the law.
Recent examples where we have awarded money: Guardians ad litem for children impacted by opioid abuse Medical examinations for alleged victims of sexual assault Summer law clerkships to provide pro bono support Law clinic programs at WVU College of Law Education programs for high school students
