AI makes a lot of things easier, faster and better. I try to learn new techniques and applications of AI with each passing month, and like all of us, I am very much still experimenting with AI tools and programs. They are ubiquitous.
The two ways in which AI has changed how I do things are in the realms of research and meeting minutes. I typically explore any issue, topic, presentation or question by first using an AI tool. This really helps me quickly gain context and perspective on an issue and allows me to drill down on relevant data and information in a much more efficient fashion. Second, I take and prepare minutes from a lot of meetings. For those meetings conducted by video, I find that AI bots generate incredibly helpful and accurate minutes, saving me a lot of time. Of course, review and proofing are still required but having a wellcrafted first draft the moment a meeting ends is a real time-saver.
On our client development team, we are increasingly using AI for not only text content generation but also for creating videos, photos, ads and graphics. Not only does AI do a terrific job coming up with ideas, the graphic content and presentation created by AI are typically outstanding.
