Joshua Lanham is a partner at regional law firm Bowles Rice LLP and member of the firm’ s litigation team. Working from the firm’ s Charleston, WV, office, Lanham focuses his practice on commercial litigation; construction litigation; professional licensing disputes; will, trust and estate litigation; bad faith litigation; and insurance defense. He serves on the firm’ s AI committee and recruiting committee.

Ty McClung is a freelance contributor for West Virginia Executive and graduate student at West Virginia University( WVU), where he is pursuing his master’ s degree in journalism. McClung is a native of Madison, WV, and recently graduated from WVU with a Bachelor of Science in journalism. In his free time, he enjoys reading, being outdoors and cheering on the Mountaineers.
Jason Moss
Jason Moss is the head of new government initiatives for Wonderschool. In this role, he collaborates closely with state and county agencies to develop and launch new businesses that best support child care around the country. Moss currently works in West Virginia, in partnership with the West Virginia Small Business Development Center, to support and expand child care. He has more than 25 years of experience helping education companies enter new markets, stand up new business divisions and launch new digital products and services to government, higher education, enterprise and retail customers.
Dawn Nolan
Dawn Nolan has been writing feature stories for magazines and newspapers for more than 15 years. She is a self-employed marketing copywriter and works at an independent bookstore where she handles social media, public relations and events. She also leads three monthly book clubs. Nolan graduated from Marshall University with bachelor’ s degrees in English and psychology.
McKenzie Stalnaker
McKenzie Stalnaker holds an associate’ s degree in strategic communication and a bachelor’ s degree in communication and media studies with a concentration in strategic communication. She is a West Virginia native and currently resides in Jackson County. Stalnaker is an avid reader, writer and painter with a particular passion for storytelling. She hopes to one day publish a book in honor of her grandmother, Diana, who ignited her passion.
Seth Stover
Seth Stover is the graphic designer for Executive Ink, LLC. He holds a bachelor’ s degree in integrated marketing from Glenville State University with a minor in graphic design. Stover currently resides in Wallback, WV, with his wife, Leslee. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his cats, Eddie and Lottie.
Tracy Toler
Tracy Toler scaled Seneca Rocks at the age of 5 and has been reaching new heights ever since. Toler is the owner of Tracy A. Toler Photography. A mountain bike enthusiast, he is also the co-owner of Adventure Trail Systems and has built mountain bike trails all over West Virginia. Toler lives in Nitro with his two daughters, Sunny and Kaya. Unaiza Tyree
Unaiza Tyree is a litigator in the Charleston, WV, office of regional law firm Bowles Rice LLP. She handles a variety of different litigation matters but primarily focuses her practice on medical malpractice, construction disputes, professional licensure issues and commercial litigation. Tyree is also the chair of the firm’ s diversity committee, handles contracting for the firm’ s e-discovery needs and is a member of the firm’ s AI committee.
Paige Udermann
Paige Udermann is a Wisconsin native who recently relocated to Minnesota after several years in Charleston, WV. Having spent her time in Almost Heaven working for West Virginia Executive, Udermann stays connected to the Mountain State by continuing to freelance as a writer. She holds a bachelor’ s degree in business communications from the University of St. Thomas. Udermann’ s love for writing is matched only by her passion for reading and her enjoyment of the great outdoors. Udermann resides in Shoreview, MN, with her husband, Eric.
Kristen Uppercue
Kristen Uppercue, a native of Martinsburg, WV, is a deputy editor at 100 Days in Appalachia, where she manages and oversees operations for special projects. She also serves as content manager of Reporting on Addiction, a collaborative project of 100 Days and the Opioid Policy Institute providing free resources and training to improve the way journalists report on substance use. Uppercue received her bachelor’ s degree in journalism and master’ s degree in integrated marketing and communications from West Virginia University.
