Ashley Brown , a 12-time winner of Peoples Bank ’ s most prestigious award , President ’ s Club , doesn ’ t plan to slow down anytime soon . Brown is a senior vice president and regional manager of Peoples Bank and a resident of Vienna , WV . She was promoted to senior vice president at the age of 35 , holding various roles across the bank prior to this promotion , which she attributes to the versatility that led to her current position .
She has also served in multiple positions outside of the bank , such as a volunteer for United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley , past Rotary board member , past Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce ’ s women in leadership committee chair , past Junior League of Parkersburg board member and Juleps Pathways playground committee chair and donor . She also is a recipient of the 2022 Business Leader of the Year

award by Ohio ’ s Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce and was recognized as a Generation Next : 40 Under 40 in 2023 by The State Journal .
Brown is known for her successful coaching style .
“ I focus on providing genuine , constructive feedback to associates to fuel my passion for talent development ,” she says . “ I find much joy in watching my teammates succeed .”
She provides feedback with a drive for constant improvement and relationship building . Constructive criticism can be a fine line to walk , but Brown does it with ease .
With the task of developing talent comes finding it . She uses probing interview styles to discover unteachable qualities in prospective associates .
“ The technical skills expected in banking are teachable ,” she says . “ Ethicality , adaptability and a growth mindset cannot be taught . Success in an industry like banking requires all three of those fundamental characteristics .”
