Maggie Hatfield
Maggie Hatfield is the business development center manager for Sweet Relish and a longtime freelance writer for West Virginia Executive . She is a graduate of West Virginia University , where she received her bachelor ’ s and master ’ s degrees in journalism . She previously served as the communications and development specialist for the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph . She resides in Clarksville , TN , with her husband , BJ , and daughters , Eloise and Pearl .
Jennifer Jett Prezkop
Jennifer Jett- Prezkop is the disaster workforce engagement manager for the American Red Cross of Central Appalachia Region . Prior to joining the Red Cross , she spent 15 years in the print media industry as a writer and editor . She loves sharing the joy of reading with second grade students at Central Elementary in St . Albans through Read Aloud WV . In her spare time , she supports local cat rescue efforts as a volunteer with Operation Fancy Free and a board member and foster for Itty Bitty Kitty Committee . A native of Elkview , WV , she resides in Ripley with her husband , Doug , and their clowder of rescue cats .
Sabrina McClure
Sabrina McClure was raised by loving , hard-working parents in Nicholas County , WV in the small town of Calvin with her three brothers . She earned a bachelor ’ s degree from Marshall University in creative writing in 2019 . McClure enjoys writing long and short form fiction and creative nonfiction . In 2016 , she published a novel and hopes to publish more in the future . In her free time , she can be found reading , baking , camping , hiking , watching and attending WVU football games with her husband and spending time with family . Currently , she resides in Hurricane , WV with her husband and three cats .
Dawn Nolan
A former Executive Ink , LLC intern , Dawn Nolan has been writing feature stories for magazines and newspapers for over 15 years . She is currently a self-employed marketing copywriter and works at an independent bookstore where she handles social media , public relations and events . She also leads three monthly book clubs . Nolan graduated from Marshall University with bachelor ' s degrees in English and psychology . She is an avid traveler and an escape room enthusiast . Nolan lives in her hometown of Huntington , WV , with her dog and cat .
Seth Stover
Seth Stover is the graphic designer for Executive Ink , LLC and its publications . Holding a bachelor ' s degree in integrated marketing with a minor in graphic design from Glenville State University , Stover brings over a decade of design experience to the table . Outside of work , he loves cooking and experimenting with new recipes . Stover and his wife , Leslee , enjoy traveling and exploring the stunning landscapes of West Virginia . A man of deep faith and love for the Lord , Stover finds inspiration in his faith , family and the beauty of his home state .
Tracy Toler
Tracy Toler scaled Seneca Rocks at the age of 5 and has been reaching new heights ever since . Toler is the owner of Tracy A . Toler Photography . Also , a mountain bike enthusiast , he is the co-owner of Adventure Trail Systems and has built mountain bike trails all over West Virginia . He serves as the head coach for the Putnam County Pedalers , coaches the Putnam County National Interscholastic Cycling Association club , serves as the vice president of West Virginia Mountain Bike Association and sits on the board of directors for the Nitro Convention & Visitor ' s Bureau . Paige Udermann
Paige Udermann is a Wisconsin native who recently relocated to Minnesota after several years in Charleston , WV . Having spent her time in Almost Heaven working for West Virginia Executive , Udermann stays connected to the Mountain State by continuing to freelance as a writer . She holds a bachelor ' s degree in business communications from the University of St . Thomas . Udermann ’ s love for writing is matched only by her passion for reading and her enjoyment of the great outdoors . Whether running , hiking , camping or tackling adventurous activities , she thrives on exploring new challenges . Udermann resides in Shoreview , MN , with her husband , Eric , where she finds inspiration in the serene landscapes of the North Woods .
Kristen Uppercue
Kristen Uppercue , a native of Martinsburg , WV , is a deputy editor at 100 Days in Appalachia , where she manages and oversees operations for special projects . She also serves as content manager of Reporting on Addiction , a collaborative project of 100 Days and the Opioid Policy Institute providing free resources and training to improve the way journalists report on substance use . Uppercue received her bachelor ' s degree in journalism and master ' s degree in integrated marketing and communications from West Virginia University . In her free time , she enjoys traveling , being creative and spending most of her time behind a camera or good book .
