Nicole Christian is the president and CEO of the Charleston Area Alliance in Charleston , WV . She is a certified chamber executive and is a 30-year veteran of the chamber and economic development industry . She is also a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management . Christian has held senior level or CEO positions at four other chamber and economic development organizations . She has a bachelor ’ s degree from the University of Kentucky where she studied political science and advertising . She is a native of Ft . Thomas , KY , but now calls Charleston home .
Michael Haid
Michael Haid is the owner of MCWV , Inc . in Charleston , WV . He has been in business for 24 years and has lived and worked in West Virginia his entire life . Haid currently manages four trade associations and works for several other clients . He is an avid cyclist and enjoys riding anything with two wheels . You will often find him on the backroads seeking thrills . Haid is the current executive director of the West Virginia Land and Mineral Owners Association , a position he ’ s held for over 10 years .

Maggie Hatfield is the business development center manager for Sweet Relish and a longtime freelance writer for West Virginia Executive . She is a graduate of West Virginia University , where she received her bachelor ’ s and master ’ s degrees in journalism . She previously served as the communications and development specialist for the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph . She resides in Clarksville , TN , with her husband , BJ , and daughters , Eloise and Pearl .
Dawn Nolan
Dawn Nolan is a marketing and public relations consultant who has been freelance writing for more than a decade . An avid reader , she leads two monthly book clubs . Nolan holds bachelor ’ s degrees in English and psychology from Marshall University and lives in her hometown of Huntington , WV .

She received her bachelor ’ s degree in print and digital journalism from Penn State University . Noor enjoys investigative reporting and has a keen interest in community journalism .
