WestRidge is a premier , master-planned , mixed-use development in Morgantown that attracts a concentration of corporate hubs and new employment centers . With significant frontage on I-79 , WestRidge ’ s 1,000 gross acres of office , distribution , light industrial , flex and retail are connected by new roadway , transit and over six miles of sidewalks . In partnership with WVU Medicine , Owens & Minor recently broke ground on a 350,000-square-foot medical logistics and distribution facility at WestRidge Commerce Centre . When this LEED certified facility is completed , WestRidge will include approximately 500,000 square feet of light industrial and distribution space , with remaining available pads ranging from three acres to 80 acres .
WestRidge has also opened 135,000 square feet of new Class A office space over the past three years , with additional leases currently in negotiation . Current master plans provide adequate space for significantly more office , light industrial and distribution center development across our 1,000 gross acres along I-79 .
