West Virginia Executive ’ s ( WVE ) mission is to shine a positive light on West Virginia and , in an effort to do so , created a special advertising section to highlight individual businesses that are working toward creating a brighter future for the state . Development comes in all shapes and sizes , and WVE delights in sharing the stories of businesses trailblazing the way to better infrastructure , communities , economic stability and quality of life . These narratives spark inspiration and serve as a model for others working toward similar aspirations .
Celebrating these individual successes and wins illuminates the work being done to benefit the state and its people now and in the future .
